I recently went to watch 𝔸𝕧𝕖𝕟𝕘𝕖𝕣𝕤: 𝔼𝕟𝕕𝕘𝕒𝕞𝕖 and was blown away!! (NO SPOILERS!!)

But immediately after my family and I started to debate different theories and such for the Marvel Universe (because we’re those poeple xD). I definitely suggest watching/renting this movie as soon as you can!

𝑀𝑜𝓉𝒽𝑒𝓇’𝓈 𝒟𝒶𝓎 was a wonderful success! I was so busy working two jobs (and a few other things) this year I didn’t have as much time as usual to work on my mother’s gift.

In the past I’ve always gotten her something homemade that would last a long time, was something important she could use and would love.
(Ex: 𝘈 𝘴𝘤𝘳𝘢𝘱𝘣𝘰𝘰𝘬 𝘰𝘧 𝘩𝘦𝘳 𝘭𝘪𝘧𝘦 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘩𝘦𝘳 𝘧𝘢𝘮𝘪𝘭𝘺 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘵𝘰𝘰𝘬 𝘮𝘦 𝘵𝘩𝘳𝘦𝘦 𝘮𝘰𝘯𝘵𝘩𝘴 𝘵𝘰 𝘮𝘢𝘬𝘦, 𝘢 𝘬𝘦𝘦𝘱𝘴𝘢𝘬𝘦𝘴 𝘤𝘪𝘨𝘢𝘳 𝘣𝘰𝘹 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘐 𝘳𝘦𝘥𝘦𝘴𝘪𝘨𝘯𝘦𝘥 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘱𝘶𝘵 𝘢 𝘮𝘶𝘴𝘪𝘤 𝘣𝘰𝘹 𝘪𝘯, 𝘦𝘵𝘤.)

This year she’s been making plans for a garden at our new house, and she’s gotten a good start on some of that thanks to some family friends- but she was looking at books for what kind of flowers to put in the flowerbed around our house! So instead of a bouquet (which I couldn’t afford) that would quickly die off, I got her a Azalea plant that has started to bloom and grow very nicely! ❤

Spoiler: She loved it!!

I also got a new phone which I love, thanks to my wonderful best friend & aunt!! ❤ ❤

I’ve been using a flip-phone so long, it’s taking and adjustment Lol. But I got a super cute phone case for it!

Now that it’s summer, I’ve gotten to go to the beach a few times with my family. Even though we live by the ocean, it’s rather hard finding the time to go when it’s not a chaos schedule though 😦

And I’ll admit I’m not always up for going to the ocean, unless it’s for a long amount of time that we’ll be there!

I haven’t updated too much recently, but I’m planning some more blog posts soon for you guys!

The Best Appetizers For Your Get-Together!

Does anybody else like to just ”wow” people with food??

(Please don’t let me be the only one…)

Well, whether it be a party, a Get-Together, or just a big meal- here’s some of the best appetizers (some are my own little creations, but not all) and the best part: they’re all SO. EASY!!

**Brie Cheese, Sliced French Bread, and (optional) Dried Cranberries with (again, optional) a sweet and spicy glaze!**

This is one of my own little things I decided to put together- and it turned out DELICIOUS!!

I didn’t put any butter on the sliced bread, I just put it on low on the grill and sliced some brie cheese and put it right on as it cooked! Don’t let the bread get brown or crispy, just get the cheese soft and warm!

You can add a glaze and dried cranberries onto as you cook if you would like, to give it some extra flavor that goes great with the creamy cheese. I used Rothschild’s Roasted Pineapple and Habanero sauce, not a whole lot mind you- it can get spicy pretty quick- if you just use a small tablespoon it’s more sweet than spicy!

These are some little desserts I did for a tea party, that really hit well with everyone!

Put some red frosting on vanilla wafers, some black frosting for the dots (just a little!), and a junior mint for the head & there you go!! They’re not too sweet because the vanilla wafers aren’t really sweet, as long as you don’t throw too much frosting on you’ll be good!

***Divine delicacy of crackers with special jam and cheese! ❤***

This is another go-to appetizer for me, because I’ll regularly put it together just for snack for myself so I know it’ll be quick and easy to take somewhere!

You can use any kind of cracker you want for this snack, but it depends on your taste buds! I would not suggest a cracker with a lot of salt, I use Wellington crackers or 34 Degrees crackers for these- but really just a plain one. Spoon out some Rothschild’s jam & Glaze on the cracker, the best flavors are Raspberry Honey Mustard, Hot Pepper Raspberry, & Roasted Pineapple and Habanero. (The last two have some spice, but not too bad and the honey mustard one has no spice at all!)

Finally, just add a small piece of either plain Goat Cheese or Blueberry Vanilla goat cheese on top the jam and there you go! You have a fancy, delicious appetizer that was quick and painless!

These are just my Top 3 favorite (and painless) appetizers I wanted to share with you all!

Another alternative, is just finding the right cracker and cheese or dip- and BOOM! There you go! Spinach and Artichoke dips are usually the best and most popular with crowds at get-togethers in that case, I’ve learned.

Pretty Woman Walking Down The Street~

There’s both a movie & a song titled Pretty Woman, now I don’t imagine all of you have watched the movie or heard the song- but both of them stick with you.

This weekend I had a wonderful opportunity to take my best friend to a French Restaurant for dinner, I had missed her birthday due to work and wanted to make it up to her!

A lovely French Bistro set on the beach was absolutely perfect- the cozy environment and friendly staff made it amazing without even bringing up the delicious edibles they had.

No, we did not try the escargot! (I’m not that adventurous lol!)

I think the main reason I didn’t want to try the escargot was because there’s actually a scene in the movie Pretty Woman where she’s trying to eat that exact dish… and well, let’s just say what followed wasn’t actually scripted but they put it in the movie anyways to give us a good laugh!

When you go to a French Bistro, be careful because it can get pricey, but here’s some menu items that two people can eat and love for the price of one or that I definitely suggest trying!

Tarte Flambee~ Flatbread with sour cream, bacon, and onion. (I suggest the one with swiss cheese and mushroom as well!)

Shrimp a la Vodka~ Cooked shrimp served over rice or noodles with a light tomato cream sauce. (My new personal favorite, my friend and I both split it and were full!)

Canard A L’Orange~ In English it’s Duck a L’Orange, duck served crispy with an orange mustard glaze. (My friend freaked out about this one because she really likes duck, don’t ask me why xD)

Lavender Creme Brulee~ a delightful dessert that the restaurant put a sparkler on for my friend!

Of course don’t forget to try the homemade hot chocolate!

Now more about that movie! I can’t seem to get the song from Pretty Woman out of my head, especially after re-watching it and admiring the dresses the protagonist wears later on in the movie. My favorite one will always be the striking red one she wears to the opera!

Throughout the movie we see Vivian’s new outfits- while some are more on the questionable side, later we see gorgeous ones that she went to so many stores to find (while we listened to that song again). Which outfits or dresses were you favorite??

Now I should probably clarify that I’m talking about the 1990 version of Pretty Woman, there was a remake in 2015 I believe, but I never watched that one.

I love when Julia Roberts & Richard Gere play in a movie together, they’ve played in a few other chick-flicks that are some of my favorites (The Runaway Bride)! They have a very nice chemistry and a lot of scenes in Pretty Woman actually were bloopers that they just left in- of Julia (Vivian) laughing in surprise when Richard closed the jewelry box on her hand and several others!
